Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The University has established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The Committee is constituted to ensure a safe, secure, and gender-sensitive environment for all students, faculty members, and staff within the campus.

The ICC is responsible for preventing and addressing complaints related to sexual harassment and gender-based misconduct. It functions as an independent body that examines complaints in a fair, confidential, and time-bound manner, following the principles of natural justice and due process.

The Committee conducts awareness programs, workshops, and sensitization sessions to educate members of the University community about their rights, responsibilities, and the importance of maintaining dignity and mutual respect in academic and professional spaces. Preventive measures and institutional policies are regularly reviewed to strengthen campus safety.

Any aggrieved individual may submit a written complaint to the ICC through prescribed channels. The Committee ensures that complainants are protected from victimization or retaliation during the inquiry process. Appropriate recommendations and disciplinary actions are taken in accordance with University rules and statutory provisions.

Through the effective functioning of the Internal Complaints Committee, the University reaffirms its commitment to promoting equality, dignity, and a respectful work and study environment for all.
